Bringing a friend to your lash session is a NO no with me #sorry not sorry

There isn't a nice way to say it, but put your self on the artist shoes and think about it.

The session consist of 2 hours where you as the client needs to be relaxed in order for your eyes not to jitter. Relaxed client happy lash artist!

Having someone else in the room makes me (the artist) nervous, its like having an officer watch you deadly into your eyes waiting for you to mess up.

While I'm lashing I need the client to keep the talk to a minimum, simply because when one speaks the eyes also move. So think about it, chatting is unacceptable in my studio.

I play a jazz playlist that keeps me focused through out the session, my clients also enjoy it and most times it makes them go to sleep. Which makes my job even more enjoyable because the person isn't moving at all.

Story time

This literally happen today, first client of the year...

A young woman came to get her lashes with me for her first time ever. I informed her about everything one needs to know before getting lashes through text message and she decided to come... with her husband. I treat my clients from the moment they step into my driveway. I kindly told her that I don't have space for visitors, its just client and I for 2 hours. There's a Mall near by that can be of waiting room if needed. Husband refused to go and decided to wait by her side. Once I started lashing she often kept speaking with him which I had to tell them to stop talking in order for me to work properly and finish on time. I wasn't focus at all, client and husband did not help either.

He eventually got bored and decided to go to the mall, which I had to stop lashing and walked him out. While at the mall he decided to call my client several times which I had to answer the phone and let them talk. I think I got distracted about 6-9 times, but that wasn't the end of it. He then returns to my lash studio with food, which I had to stop lashing and walked him in. I kindly asked him to not eat inside the studio, believe it or not the smell is a distraction as well.

This session took me 4 hours, I was unbelievably stressed and annoyed but moments like this makes me wanna.... break a plate haha.
